<p>It dovetailed nicely into the Notre Dame essay prompt he chose, which is, "Students at the University of Notre Dame are passionate! Their passion gives direction & definition to campus academic, community & spiritual life. Recognizing that you have already provided us with a list of your extracurricular activities, please briefly describe your greatest passion, and tell us how it defines & directs you."</p>
<p>And of course he wrote about his passion for and commitment to football, how hard he has worked at it during his high school career, and how, because he is not a natural at it, it became his biggest personal challenge with the most satisfying rewards.</p>
<p>But again, I WILL call Notre Dame tomorrow. And hopefully this will be all resolved.</p>
