How did you decide on your major?

I also considered finance until I found out there's no way I'm getting into Stern.

yeah because finance is only offered at NYU

^

finance is only offered at NYU and sarcasm is only offered at ChamilitaryMayne's school.

Choose the one you are interested in.
If you don't like the major, you will find it is really boring to study.
However, maybe you can change your major .

$$$

^ 20 years down the line, thats all that matters. While liberal arts majors are cashing in their welfare checks, I'll be fixing peoples brains for top dollars . "Passion" and "soul" gets you no where in life.

Ask your friends. It may seem cheesy, but they probably know you pretty well.

I'm planning on majoring in Psychology. I actually hadn't even considered it until I brought it up as a by-the-by and my close friend Kelly said something like "You'd make an awesome Psychologist!" So I did some research, and found that it was actually interesting to me.

Make sure you do something that's interesting, not just something you're good at, because you're spending at least the next 4 years studying it.

And if you pick the wrong one, take console in the fact that you can always change it later!!!
