I don't have work study and trying to find an on-campus job. How did you find yours ? When did you start your search and apply ?
My school current site doesn't have any academic year job listing yet.
Help.

Ask around your campus or call the different deparments, and just have patience to continue getting transferred. Eventually you will find one, If your a female a good job is the campus daycare every campus has one.

Try the website for the campus bookstore or the library.

At my school, Student Financial Services handles job assignments for freshmen who have them as part of their financial aid. If you can find out who assigns jobs to students on work study, I would talk to that department first.

I got lucky that a job opportunity arrived in an e-mail. I applied fairly quickly. If I were in your place again, I would ask upperclassmen as well. They might be able to tell you when is the most opportune time is to apply and perhaps give some direction on the better jobs on campus. I would advise watching the student employment website very carefully so that you don’t miss out! Jobs tend to go quickly.

My school has a website for jobs on and off campus but also tend to re-link to websites such as cafeteria, student center etc… for applications. I would suggest to look for job applications on websites like housing, food, and service.
