I wanted to know more about Harvard as a freshman in high school… So, I went on CC.

I was curious about the AP Calc curve and how others felt about the exam. Googled it. Landed here. This was during my junior year of high school. Fun stuff.

It was a simple Google search.

i always googled some random college related topics and it always came to this site…

Same as a lot of other people, looks like- I Googled college questions, and CC came up time after time.

Goggle Search

And i learned a lot from CC,

I found this forum on a google search.

My TOK teacher told me about CC. His advice and advice from here have been immensely helpful because my GC is not familiar with admissions at Ivy League schools.

I was referred here by a parent from a discussion website that is mainly about other topics but which has a college admission subforum. I’ve since told other parents about College Confidential via email lists.

I think I was reading fan fiction at some point, then somehow, I jump from URL to URL and ended up here.

I have no idea. I feel like I might have come via the actual collegeconfidential site, but I feel like I knew about it earlier. I kind of wish I remembered now.

Does anyone actually use the main site? I don’t ever go there. I don’t think I’ve ever even explored it.

I found CC while I was looking up information about certain scholarships on Google. :)

I was curious about the mailing dates of AP scores after my Sophomore year. Google provided me with a rather informative CC subforum. =)

I think I googled “college life” and ended up on the main CC site. Then, I found the boards and my life was never the same.

Google. My association with CC has changed my life in ways I never imagined. Its effects reached waaaaaaay beyond college admissions.

After fretting over what chance I’d have at Berkeley in early 11th grade, a friend directed me to the UC Berkeley chance forum. And I’ve blossomed from there. Lol.

Hernandez.

A friend with kids a year older than mine told me about it. I refer to her as my crack dealer. Once I discovered the Parent Cafe I realized I’d still be addicted after my kids were both admitted to college.

lol where’s TCBH when you need him?

see the top of the HSL page
