How did you get rid of your art credit?

Title says all.

AP Art History and Debate.

Ah.

Art History isn’t offered at my school anymore :^(

I’ll just take Music Composition and Guitar Studies.

Maybe even Instrumental Arrangement.

I went ahead and took AP Studio Art. The workload is pretty crazy, but if you like visual art it’s worth it.

I just took photography freshman year so I could have an elective for later.

I took piano

Took music for two semesters.

AP Music Theory.

instrumental ensemble. easy A.

…I took Art 1 freshman year…

Took Intro to Media (which I took because I wanted to take journalism and it was a prerequisite…lucky for me it also satisfied to art requirement too). Easy 100 also.

Ceramics 1 Freshman year, one semester of Ceramics 2 Sophomore year and I’m taking Theatre 1 Senior (next) year. We only need one credit, but especially next year, I need something easy

Senior year ill either take
Theater 2 (I can skip 1 since I’m already involved in the drama department.)
Or less likely
Concert choir (if I can somehow manage to learn to sing decently by then, because I refuse to be in freshman beginner chorale.)

Our school has two musical ensembles that you can participate in during the morning. They’re both zero periods, so no schedule conflict.
Audition only, though. You have to be at least competent at your instrument/at singing to get in

Ceramics 1

I wasn’t necessarily trying to get my art credit out of the way, since I thought I was going to stick with it all 4 years. I’ve been in orchestra since 4th grade, so I obviously did it this year (freshman). Turns out the teacher makes it into an unbearable experience, so I’m quitting. The next three years I’ll be a photographer on the yearbook staff.

a year of APAH

The drama department at my school is HUGE and pretty much everyone’s involved in it. I took Theatre this year (sophomore) to just get my art credit out of the way. Found out I’m in love with it and I’m taking Adv Theatre (audition only and highly selective) next year, along with Adv and Musical my senior year. Our musical is like crazy, almost everyone in the school is involved whether they’re taking tech or actually in it.

I took a half-credit music appreciation class freshman year. I got a lot of random requirements out of the way freshman year and took very few core academic classes.

Don’t have one :)
