<p>I go to a boarding high school as an international student. I was only 15 years old on move-in day. It was extremely chaotic and I was tired after flying 14 hours. I was actually too tired to be awkward. But then my roommate didn’t stay much in the room for the rest of the year and I didn’t really have to talk to her. If you’ve ever been to camps, it won’t be that awkward. Just try to hit up a conversation (easy since you want to get to know each other). Hopefully you two will be too busy with unpacking and orientation that you won’t really have time to feel awkward.</p>
