How difficult is it to earn an A in a community college course?

I am a rising senior and am taking Introduction to Psychology at a CC. If I normally get Bs/As in AP courses, how hard will it be to get an A in the class?

CC courses are a joke. they’re like regular high school classes. You’ll be fine.

I never went to a CC and based off what I’ve *heard/i, CC are immensely less difficult than the typical 4 year. I’ve read people getting As in Diffy Eqns in CC but getting pwned in the same course in a 4 year. So I would say not to hard.

I’m glad to hear that  I was tripping out not to be tardy the first day, and when I got there (on time), at least 10 kids came late and the instructor didn’t care…haha x) My AP teachers had higher standards, I guess.

Don’t even trust Dwayne, that is a stupid generalization that CC are easier. It all depends on the professor

@ Dwayne: If you think CCs are as easy as high school, you obviously never had tough professors at the CC level before. My Bio 93 professor this past spring semester was tough–he treated all his classes, especially his Physiology class, like they were upper division courses and structured all his tests like the MCAT. Not too many students passed his class with an A.

Don’t listen to Dwayne, he was exposed as a buffoon and thoroughly discredited long ago.

Dwayne is right on one count when he says they’re like high school classes meaning each one is different because each teacher is different and each school is different. College is college.

just like in a 4 year, the professor can make a world of difference

Depends on the Professor, I had ones who also taught at The University of San Diego and would not “dumb” down their classes at the CC since they knew most of us would be transferring to 4 year schools at some point. Out of the 16 professors I had only 2 I would consider easy, one was just a flake and the other was a speech class and the prof was awesome at making it relaxed.
