How difficult is it to get into barnard?

my gpa is really low even though i’m in all honors/ap classes and i’m worried it will affect my chances for admission to barnard.
if i score well on the sat/act will that help me or does barnard really focus on one’s gpa?
besides that i am involved in many extracurriculars.i have an international award in piano, a developing art and photography portfolio, am currently junior class secretary of student council, will hopefully earn 2 varsity letters in lacrosse, write for the student newspaper and hopefully become an editor, and will be president of french club for 1-2 years. i’m very well rounded, my teachers love me as well as my guidance counselor. so what i’m really worried about is my gpa which is clearly not good enough. does barnard look at weighted gpas cause next year i’m taking 4 ap classes which are weighted more.
asldfjhdsasdkfhdsl i just really want to go there its a perfect school for me.

Barnard really looks at you as a whole person; meaning that they take everything into consideration. You should therefore obviously try to do the best you can in every area. For example, I had a LOT of extra curriculars, and i’m pretty sure some great recommendation letters but my gpa was only 94.98. Just try your best, write a great essay, and hope for the best. If you are a good fit for Barnard, you’ll get in, if not, you’ll get into the place where you belong. good luck!

do ED…Barnard took 47% of the ED applicants compared to 16% RD…
