How difficult is SAT blue book compared to actual test & help?

I took the first practice test from the blue book, and while I received an 800 in math, I scored only a 600 in critical reading and a 60 scaled writing MC subscore (so like a 600 or whatever depending on how well my essay goes). Is this the same difficulty as the actual test? (just checking, because I know the ACT red book is pretty different).

Also, does anyone have any good suggestions on how I can improve my score? I know that there are loads of resources in my book and CC, but I was wondering if anyone had any great tips that helps them boost? Thank you!

How are the tests different from the ACT red book? I took the actual one and the practice, yet my score stayed in a similar range.

I do poorly as well on the Critical Reading portion of the test, especially the long passages. Sorry can’t help you there.

The tests in the blue book are the exact same difficulty

They’re created by the College Board and some are actual past tests so they are very accurate.
