How difficult is the CIS/MIS major?

How difficult is the Computer Information Systems major compared to Accounting or Finance? How do you know you’re a good fit for CIS? I like technology in general, and I can program in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Excel/VBA, and SQL, but I’m not very good at programming in C++ and Java. If I went the CIS route, I’d like to work as a web developer right after graduating (back-end, front-end, or full-stack), but I fear that majoring in CIS would get me stuck in a help desk/call center type role. Also, wouldn’t Computer Science majors be preferred over CIS/MIS majors for web developer jobs? I’m also interested in database administration and systems analysis.

My other options are Accounting and Finance. If I went that route, I’d get a top 30 MBA and work in FP&A at a F500 corporation.

Out of CIS, Accounting, and Finance, which of these three majors have the best employment prospects and won’t be over-saturated in the future?
