I got accepted to University of Waterloo for Computer Science and I wanted to ask how difficult would it be if i graduate from UWaterloo CS compared to any other University with a ranking of 300 in CS to get into top Grad schools in the US like Stanford or UC Berkeley? How many of the students do make to top grad schools from UWaterloo each year or how much reputed UWaterloo in the US.
Waterloo is excellent, particularly for CS. Admissions folks in US schools will know how good it is.
I know several people who did part of their education in Canada and part in the US. None of them had any problems in terms of the educational/academic aspects of moving from one country to the other. None of them were CS majors however.
I think you have to recognize how difficult those grad school admissions are from any university. But Waterloo is reputable in CS,:'so certainly you would have a shot if you are an outstanding student there.
In computer science Waterloo IS a top grad school.
