How do colleges know? and Am I safe?

Well, I'm "done" all my applications, but I have a bit of a problem. I've sent my SAT score (Via Collegeboard) and High School Transcripts (Via Naviance), and Recommendation Letters(Via Counselor).

My problem is that when I sent my application through CommonApp and other online forms, I used a an email address "AAAA@AAA.com" (This is not my real email. It's just a an example). When I sent my SAT scores, another email was registered with that account, "BBBB@BBB.com." Everything else I put on CommonApp and Collegeboard is the same such as DOB, School Attended to, Year of graduation, Name, phone, Address etc, but the email is different. Will colleges get mixed up and make 2 separate files just because of the two different email addresses?

My other problem is that I sent my transcripts via Naviance on November 25. Apparently, it's still pending. I also sent my SAT scores. I check the Sent score summary and it saids it sent, but when I look at the online application check on Pennstate, it still saids that I need my SAT scores. Its been a week since I sent them

My final question which links the first 2 questions together is "How do colleges know that you're the same person that sent them stuff from completely non-affiliated companies?" What I mean is that if I send my SAT scores via Collegeboard and then I send my transcripts via Naviance, How do colleges know that they are both from the same person and file that into the same student folder, even though Collegaboard and Naviance seemingly have no link?

Thanks

Unless you’re rushing your scores, CollegeBoard takes at least 1 week to release them. Colleges take around 1-2 weeks to process them. It’s the same with transcripts; they take a while to process. Check the college website(s) for the date by which all your stuff should be processed (e.g. for Yale Early applicants it was 15 November 2009). If your stuff does not show up after this date, contact the college. So unless you’re an Early applicant, relax. All is well.

Colleges won’t get mixed up by the two email addresses. I had a similar case; however, colleges do have other information such as name, address, date of birth, school CEEB code, etc. to match your information to your profile. I had no trouble with my application.

Good luck.
