I’ve been accepted to a couple top schools and had straight A’s for most of my high school year (including senior first semester), but my AP Physics class has become insanely difficult suddenly as my teacher is giving us quizzes/tests every day and barely even teaching us b/c we are “behind schedule.” (She’s basically rushing through the chapters and testing us even when the students don’t understand anything). Therefore, I have a current 69 in the class, but have A’s and A-'s in every other class.
Is this a potential rescind state?
Do colleges rescind based on the final year grade or based on second semester grades? b/c I got a 96 and 99 for the first two quarters of first semester in the AP Physics class.
Schools will rescind based on what is on your transcript. Either 1 final grade or both semester grades will show up on your transcript and they base it on that. Rule of thumb: No D’s or F’s and you should be fine. Most schools are reasonable and will try to work with you to resolve any issues. It is not that common to be rescinded.
