How do I add something to my application?

I dropped a class this year to focus on my independent study project...so on my transcript it says "Independent Study." However, I didn't specify what exactly I am doing/researching right now FOR my independent study. How do I let JHU know?

It’s easy…a couple of options…1) go to JHU website, identify who the adcom member is for your area and you will see their email address…just email him/her and they can add the email to your file…2) Send something in writing and mail it to

Johns Hopkins University

Baltimore, MD 21218

Actually, email is not recommended. From AdmissionsDaniel’s [most recent blog post](Taiga):

what kinds of things are appropriate to send in? Could I update my supplement essays? just clarify a little… or is that overdoing it?
How about a little note to explain my horrible performance in a class this semester?..haha
