I was admitted through REA to Stanford '23. I applied for FAFSA before December, but I’ve received nothing from Stanford regarding financial aid, and there’s nothing on my Application Status page, either.
Do I need to apply for financial aid on Stanford’s website, or what? In other words, what do I need to do besides for FAFSA in order to finish applying for financial aid from Stanford?
Call Stanford’s FA office but I’ll doubt they will have anything ready before January for you.
OP, did you read what S says about applying for aid? I don’t think so, if you ask these questions. Go find it asap. Can’t expect an aid response if all you did was the FAFSA.
You should be able to view a preliminary award letter in Axess (axess.stanford.edu). The final award letter would be available in April IIRC, but the preliminary should give you a pretty good approximation of what you will receive.
IIRC, I submitted a CSS Profile in November (I applied REA), FAFSA in January or February, and parents’ tax returns in the Spring. They were able to generate a preliminary letter with just the CSS profile. This was a few years ago, though, so things may have changed.
