I want to enroll in the 3-2 college/seas program at Columbia, but I don't know how to apply? Do I send in the regular app and apply once I'm enrolled, or do I send in the 3-2 program app??

Is this question so obvious that people would feel insulted by answering it? Please...anyone?

College-Engineering Joint Programs

Columbia offers a five-year plan in which you can attend Columbia College for three years and the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science for two years; you then earn both the B.A. and the B.S. degrees. If you are interested in the "3-2 Program," you should proceed with this application as a candidate for Columbia College.

Another five-year program allows you to complete your four-year BS program in the School of Engineering and Applied Science and then, with an additional year of study in Columbia College, to earn the BA. degree as well. If you are interested in the "4-1 Program," you should proceed with the application process as a candidate for the School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Thanks for the information. I'm pretty sure that I want to major in mechanical or electrical engineering, but I would also like to major in economics. Which program would you recommend for me?
