So basically I’m a poor college student, trying to transfer from community college to a four year college but the school I applied to said I need to either pay the application fee or email them my financial hardships any they will have a discussion about if they can waive it of not… What do I say in my letter?
Speak to someone in person at your community college, hopefully a counselor, and ask for their assistance in writing your letter.
We can’t help you write your letter if you don’t give us more information about why you are poor or what your financial hardship involves.
Something along the lines of “Me poor me no have job me no have money how me transfer no fee please thankyouverymuch” probably won’t be enough.
Will the school give enough financial aid for you to attend?
you could start by looking at the guidelines in place for SAT fee waivers through college board. Also the NACAC uses similar criteria (search nacac fee waiver).
