How do I decline my admission offer?

Other schools give me nice self-addressed envelopes or links to websites where I can let them know my decision.

Georgetown just gives me a form to fill out and sign if I want to accept their offer...(a little pretentious if you ask me, lol.)

Does this mean if the answer is "no", I don't do anything? Or am I missing something?

i believe there’s an email address you can write to (not sure what it is though, haha). When I applied to college, I just didn’t reply or do anything with any of the schools that I got accepted to. Though I guess it’s nice if they want to open up the waitlist.

Good luck at Yale! And don’t give up pre-med!

Send an email to GUAdmiss@georgetown.edu saying you’re not going to enroll.

I was just going to post this same question, and then I found this thread. Two of my son’s 8 acceptances give no way to decline the offer of admission, and of course G’town was one of them.

G’town might be left wondering, because they have provided no way to reply.

S will write a letter, though, because it was his top choice, but it just won’t work financially. (He has accepted a full-ride scholarship elsewhere.)

I emailed them and they sent me a nice reply :)

^they did for me too. (grad school, maybe please? Georgetown law would be amazing.)

Good luck waitlistees for CAS! I really sincerely hope that my decline makes one of you very, very happy. Best of luck for you! :)
