How do I get a significant scholarship/full ride?

I’m from a middle class family, my mom and dad’s combined income is over $140,000, but we live in the bay area so it’s actually a lot less than it seems. I also have a sister and there’s no way my parents can afford to send both of us to college at the tuition rates these days, and since my parents’ combined income is over the max, I’m ineligible for any financial aid from FAFSA, and most likely from the universities. I never mentioned money in my personal statement but I sort of wish I had included the fact that I’m gonna be in debt from tuition, and I plan on going to grad school after receiving my bachelors.

How can I get a significant scholarship? Is it too late at this point?

Side note, I’m a CC transfer applying as Philosophy/Psychology but hoping to double major in Philosophy and Psychobiology/Cognitive. Neuroscience.
Overall GPA: 3.85
Major GPA (phil.): 4.0
Major GPA (psyc): 4.0
Schools Applied: UCB, UCLA, UCSB
Admitted: UCSB
Waiting: UCB, UCLA

If I did a lot of field research in experimental psychology/neurophysiology/cog. neuroscience and published papers would they be more inclined to pay for my schooling?

Yeah, good luck. It’s very hard. If your parents do not have a lot of assets you might get a little through the Middle Class Scholarship. You have to have an income of less than $150,000 but the award is not much, just a few thousand a year, I think. Google the name along with UC and it’ll show up. They will have to fill out FAFSA.

I was curious about this too. Are there no merit scholarships for transfers?

There are a few merit scholarships, but they only amount to about $1-2k per year.

Some merit scholarships like Regents, but you can’t apply for it. It is chosen by the UCs.

Some schools have scholarships to apply, like Alumni at UCLA or Leadership at UCB, but they are not as significant and definitely not full ride.

I’d look into scholarships through APA and the APS, since I’ve seen their ads for student scholarships before.
