How do I get my high school credits?

Hi. I was a sophomore in high school this school year until I left in December because of not feeling challenged and feeling like I was wasting tiem. I am taking the CHSPE on Saturday so that I can have the equivalent of a diploma. However, I have now learned that the CHSPE does not cover the a-g requirements that I need to get into a university.

I have been told by a counselor to start community college this fall in order to get my credits and fulfill the a-g requrements. She said that my freshman year doesn't really help anything, and neither does my sophomore year because I didn't finish the year.

So my question is, how long would it take to complete all my high school credits at community college? Is it true that one semester at community college is the equivalent of a whole year in that class in high school?

Is there any other way for me to get these credits without going to college so young? I hadn't thought that leaving high school would mean having to go to college so young.

Thanks!

You could home school. Have you looked into the American School. Some say you can advance faster than a typical school year with them but they aren’t challenging.

Yes 1 college semester equals 1 homeschool credit.
Hopefully someone else will chime in with more ideas.
