Community College resulting in High School Credit?

Not sure this is the right place for this thread, but anyway:

This summer, after completing my junior year, I took a calculus 1 course at a local community college. Prior to the class I had registered via the concurrent enrollment forms, and I finished the class with an A.

Few questions:

How do I go about getting high school credit for that class? I'm being told by friends that there was some form I was supposed to have filled out for it prior to the class, but neither my h.s. counselor nor the admissions department told me anything about that. If I can somehow get credit for it, does the grade get factored into my GPA ? If so, it would cause a significant boost in my hopes for upcoming college admissions.

Any answers would be appreciated

where i live, i get high school credit for the cc classes i take, and it goes into my gpa. but it might not be the same for you.

but if you can get credit, you might have to request that your cc transcript be sent to your high school. there should be something on your college website about that.

you're counselor should be able to tell you whether or not you can get credit for your cc classes
