How do I improve CR section by Jan 2014 test?

<p>On the Blue Book tests, I am consistently getting 800s on Math and 750-800 on writing but still cannot manage to get above a 700 in CR. I really hope of getting a 2300 total but CR is really bringing my score down. I have done a lot of things prep books have told me (ex. reading questions before, marking line numbers, reading in chunks) but I still get 3-5 wrong per section. </p>

<p>Some are due to not knowing vocab (is there any way of learning vocab very quickly?), but others I am fully confident they are the answers but they are wrong.</p>

<p>Any help would be appreciated!</p>

<p>Have you tried Direct Hits Core and or Toughest vocab?</p>

<p>Honestly just go ham with studying. The brain can reatain a lot if it is focused look up the most commonly used SAT words- believe it or not you can easily learn 100 new words a day by repetition.</p>
