<p>How do I know how many letter of recommendation from teachers a college needs or recommends for undergraduate applicants?</p>
<p>Specifically I would like to know how many USC and NYU require.</p>

<p>It depends, some places specify one from science one from classics etc., others don’t seem to care as long as they are academic subjects.</p>
