I have been looking at the requirements for some of the colleges that interest me. When they state how many teacher recommendations are required, like for the U. of Chicago, it's two. But I was wondering if you get one from say an AP U.S. History teacher, and then the other from your accounting teacher. Since she was my accounting teacher for two years and she is also my FBLA adviser (I'm the KS FBLA District III P, a state office). Then on the UVA addmissions page is says one teacher rec., so should I contact them, or do you think that one from my accounting teacher/adviser will be sufficient, since she has the best knowledge of my leadership etc.

Some schools require recommendations from two academic teachers (like UChic), some more specifically want a science/math and a humanities rec. Check for each school.
