How Do I Pay?

Alright You guys I wanted to thanks all of those who helped me with my troubles, but i am happy to inform you that i have gotten into UC Davis.

But know the question I have is HOW EXACTLY DO I PAY FOR IT.

i mean i am ecstatic yet worried about payments, i have been told that my EFC from FAFSA is 14000 and i am not sure what exactly is next.

Any suggestions on how to pay for Davis would help

Thank You all for Your Help

Did you file FAFSA? Did you get an award letter? How did you plan to pay for it?

Have you talked to your parents about this?

You didn’t really give enough info for people to work with. What did your FA award letter from Davis offer? Did they meet your need above the $14K? Do you have outside scholarships? Is your family prepared to pay the remaining amount needed? If not, how much can they pay and how much do you need?

I apologize i wasn’t specific enough, but i meant to say was that I did file for FAFSA and as you know they told me that my EFC is 14K

As for Davis, they haven’t completed my financial aid packet and have not yet contacted me yet.

I have talked to my parents and they say they will do the best the can, but they don’t want me to begin school and then, stop because of an inability to pay the tuition.

Thank You

hey guys i wanna go to uci but im an out of state transfer and my costs were 47000 and my efc was 14000. uci only gave me 1900 for the year…is there any way i can get them to lower my costs or give me more money?

Probably not, UCs don’t even meet need for most in state students.

googster, do you have a back up plan? Please give serious thought to starting at a junior college that UCD has an articulation agreement with and that you know you can afford. Transfer in and get the UCD degree you want. Not ideal, I know, but you can only do what you can do.
