Up your GPA and your SAT. Can I assume that you’ve passed all your AP exams?

Don’t think i can boost my grades, I’m a senior right now, but im praying for a 2200. Im taking the act later this month as well.
My school district doesnt offer many AP opportunities for juniors (we cannot double up on subjects, so i couldve taken two ap classes max), i took ap biology and i got a 5
i took 3 honors courses my junior year as well

So your GPA is stagnant, but you have a decent amount of extracurriculars. Though I don’t know how much emphasis UCLA places on extrascurrics, if you study your a$$ off for the SAT/ACT and write a damn good essay, you’re in.

You really need a better GPA/SAT to have a good shot.

If 3.8 is your unweighted GPA, I’d consider UCLA a match or low reach.

If 3.8 is your weighted GPA, you’ll most likely be rejected. I’m not sure if even a 2400 would make you a match.

3.8 is my UC gpa, and that only weights 8 semesters of the classes i took

Sorry to say, but your chances are pretty slim with that kind of UC GPA. UCLA weighs GPA heavily in their admissions process.

Bump
I just recently took a mock sat and got a 2110
does that increase my chances by a lot?

^If you ended up getting that score or higher on the next SAT, then it would increase your chances a bit. It’s higher than the average accepted applicant; I would not say it increases your chances by “a lot” though, since GPA is still more important.

You’re still overwhelmingly likely to be rejected. Your UC GPA is overwhelmingly low.
