My D won State at Student Congress Tournament which seems to be a significant enough accomplishment to add to her awards list. What is the best (and modest ) way to update this information ?

She won 1st place. I don’t know if that was clear in my first post!
She can email.the admissions officer about the award. I’d recommend she keep the email short and sweet and reaffirm her interest in the college.
I’d email the main admissions email, with a copy to the regional admissions officer if you can find them on the website. The problem with just sending it to the regional officer is that the websites are often out of date – someone can quit, be shifted to another region, take a leave, etc, and the email might never get read.
