How do most colleges look at senior year (1st semester) grades?

Hello,
First, before I ask my question, I want to state that my high school does not send any senior year grades to colleges until mid/late-January.

They will not send any grades before that deadline, unless a college specifically requests 1st quarter grades.

Therefore, EA and ED decisions are made with Freshman-Junior year grades.

Second, here’s a little more context: I’m trying to balance an Eagle Scout Project, a secondary (non-Eagle) volunteer project, a job (related to my prospective studies), and the position of Drum Major within a competitive HS band.

And I have to do all of this while keeping my grades up. Of course, I’m certainly not the only one who balances a large platter full of activities while going through senior year (there are plenty of users on this forum who can easily relate, and some who might have even more on their plate).

But my grades have suffered. Last year, I finished with a 3.96. Now I have a 3.7. Best case scenario, I get my grades back up to a 3.8, maybe a 3.82 (overall high school GPA, not including senior year: 3.58, with a large upward trend).

What I’m trying to ask is…how would a college view this? Is this a massive weak spot in college admissions for me?

Sampling of schools:
Clark (EA), Bucknell, Syracuse, Colgate (maybe…), UConn, UNH/UVM, etc.

Thanks.
