I studied in a U.S. high school system and then joined the English program at St. Stephen's College, Delhi, last July. In the process of beginning my post-secondary studies in India, I learned that the American and Indian grading systems are worlds apart. For instance, a sixty percent on an Indian university English exam is a rare triumph, while a similar score on an American college exam in the same subject is very unimpressive. I'm seeking a transfer to one of several universities in the U.S. and Canada and would really appreciate it if someone could explain to me how North American colleges evaluate Indian grades. Thank you!

dont worry about that!!!my sis also had the same worry however us universities look at relative marks rather than individual marks.they very well know that students dont really get marks in DU.so they consider overall performance of foreign uni wich in this case is about 60-65% one f the highest marks.so just chill coz whenevr ur marks are lukd upon ul b compared wid the overall sco
