<p>Is it pre-determined, or do they base it around the average score and standard deviation AFTER the raw scores are calculated? If it is the latter of the two, I think I'll be okay because a lot of people have had similar trouble...... If it is the former, well then........ YIKES!</p>
<p>I don't think 10-30 points really matter that much...
You could refer to previous years' charts and estimate your score from there.</p>
<p>There's no use in worrying about it, anyway:
if you did well, you know you did well.
If you did poorly, well, what were you expecting?</p>
<p>they set the curve prior to the test i believe...</p>
<p>but is the curve done so that they know if a test is a hard one before they administer it?</p>
