how do u graph on 89

how do i graph circles, ellipses, etc

like 0= y^2 +xy +5 bla bla

do i have to make it y = form???

please help me

That's not a function.... You can graph an inverse of it, just solve for x.

only have an 83.

I graph 2 functions as y1 and y2:

y=+square root of (x^2 +2x +1) and
y=-square root of (x^2 +2x+1)

That will give you two semi-circles that make a full circle.

i have ti83 (his name is harry and i love him)
yes do what ellemenope said and also press zoom-dec or zoom-square or whatever it is so it actually looks like a circle if it is.
also if u just want to draw a pretty circle for no mathematical purpose whatsoever because you are mental like me, use DRAW+circle() when u r on the graph display and then you pick two points, first is center and second is any point on circumference. and it makes a circle. cool huh!? i know.
also if u ever have some equation like that, with one y-term to the whatever power, move it to the left and then make both sides to the power of (1/ whatever power the y-term is to) i.e. first u have y^3 = 26- x^5 - 7x . hopefully u know that y^(3 * (1/3)) = y, and now the whole thingy is y= (26-x^5-7x)^(1/3).. and.. yeah
ok you know what.. i think i will never be able to become a licensed math teacher... lol
