<p>I always read the questions first, then read the passages with the questions in mind.</p>
<p>I always read both passages first, and then answer the questions.</p>
<p>what about the “the author of Passage 1 would mostly likely to respond to the author of Passage 2”? How am I supposed to know what their attitude is like?</p>
<p>I skim the questions then read both passages. Then I answer all of the questions, referring back to the passages when necessary.</p>

You can infer from the way he/she has written the passage…</p>
<p>^ And infer is just a fancy word for saying ‘Look for evidence in the passage’… don’t get confused by the words <em>inference</em> or <em>implies</em>… it does not mean you should make assumptions.</p>

Base all your answers on evidence from the passage.</p>
