What is the molality of an aqueous solution of a compound with a molar mass of 120. g/mol that has a density of 1.56 g/mL and a molalrity of 5.78 M?

haha thanks can't think right now

What is the molality of an aqueous solution of a compound with a molar mass of 120. g/mol that has a density of 1.56 g/mL and a molalrity of 5.78 M?

haha thanks can't think right now

I believe:
Assume V= 1.00L
5.78 mol/L => 5.78 mol
1.00 L = 1000mL * 1.56g/mL = 1560g = 1.56kg

m = 5.78 mol/1.56 kg solution

u put molalrity, which is it, cuz moLALity and moLARIty are two completely diff things, one is moles over mass, other is moles over volume

sorry i meant molarity haha. but they question wouldn't give you molality AND ask you for it.

the answer's actually 6.66

haha good luck on Chemap tomorrow
