<p>If your grades were lackluster in your freshman year, but saw a good bump from freshman to senior year? My cumulative GPA is low because of my grades from freshman year, but my report card (final) grades saw a 7-10 point increase. The way my transcript is arranged is that it organizes my grades based according to classes, and not report card grades. This looks worse because the report card grades appear as weighted and the individual class grades do not. So, how could I explain or show how my grades saw an increase? Do I write it in the personal statement?</p>
