How do you know which AP scores to send?

I was wondering if there's a list somewhere on which AP scores actually count for Berkeley and which ones are irrelevant whether you passed or not.

And how do you send them? I can't seem to find the link on Collegeboard.

When you take an AP test, you put the college code (listed in the student pack) in the student information section (the part that you only fill out once per year on the answer sheet).

If you’re not taking any APs this year, I don’t know.

And I’m pretty sure that Collegeboard just sends all of them automatically, unless you request that some be withheld.

Yeah, all of them are sent unless withheld.

The different “colleges” have different policies in terms of the APs. Either way, it’s processed automatically, and you need to send the scores regardless of whether or not it’s worth anything. They have to match it up to what you put on the app.

[University of California - Counselors](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/educators/counselors/adminfo/freshman/advising/credit/berkeley.html)

So I can send the AP scores to Berkeley later, since I didn’t specify where I wanted my scores to be sent in the student information section on the answer sheet?

It depends on your major. I’d say the AP credit system is stupid, but that’s my opinion. Check the department page for your major and it should say (i.e. AP Physics gets you out of Physics 7A for physics major but not for Bio major. bummer.)

And contact Collegeboard to send your AP score to UC Berkeley. They know where to send it.
