We only have a month left before the exam, and I feel that I'll be even lucky to get a 2 on the exam because we basically accomplish nothing in that class. I mean the only thing we have read so far is the BedFord Reader (which isn't that much of a help), and we've only done a couple essays. And to top it off, our teacher left our class for maternity leave.

Is there someway to review all the material in a month so that I can at least get a 3 or 4 on the exam? Because there's like no review material in the so called "review" books.
Please Help me! I don't want to end up scoring an 1!!!!

Pick up a test prep book for the class like the one by Princeton Review. The library may have it too so you would not even have to buy it.

You can go to the college board website and download the AP tests for that subject for the last several years. You can practice taking those. Maybe another english teacher would “grade” them for you

I am sure you can get a syllabus for the course–read the materials and make sure you understand them. Good luck!

Use your resources. The library probably has an AP English Lang review book such as Princeton Review. Borders or Barnes and Noble have review books to study from. It is better to get started now–even if you’re pretty late–than to never study and fail the AP exam. I, myself, am using Princeton Review’s book and it is helpful; their sample essays, quick review on literary and rhetorical devices, and vocabulary are exemplary. Go to AP Central and look up past AP Eng Lang essays and take a look at them, even look at the examples that students did.
