How doable is this all math/science schedule?

Math 33A
Math 33B
Physics 1A
Chem 30A

I can compromise on the math if needed things are too rough.

I took a similar schedule in first year. It’s doable as long as you can make sure you catch up whenever you put off work for a class.

all lower div maths/science classes are easy… except for labs, which are tedious.

physics 1A is just high school stuff + some calculus, you should be fine as long as you understand pseudo-force.

Pure memorisation will get you through Chem 30A. Read the textbook carefully and you don’t even need to go to lectures… Make sure that you’re familiar with all the reactions. Make sure you understand why a reaction could happen, and which reaction is more favourable under a certain condition.

Math 33B material is VERY easy. Shouldn’t be a problem. However you might want to go to lectures and take notes because the textbook is poorly written.

Math 33A needs some critical thinking. If you understand the concepts & where the theorems come from, you’ll do well. Calculations are really easy (unlike 32A/32B). 33A is the most interesting lower div maths class.

Thank you for all the good replies. I was a bit hesitant about this schedule but I want to put off those dang GEs. (South Campus haha.) Sounds like everything should be good.

When you get to upper divs you’ll want to put off those GE’s even more, haha

As someone who is in both, 33A is definitely more enjoyable and less busy work than 32B.
