<p>I heard a lot of engineering graduates don't even go into engineering and go into accounting/finance/business. How do they do that if they don't have degrees in those subjects? Has anyone here done it? Can someone explain to me how to do it? Thanks!</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure for grad school, they go for an “MBA”.
Other than that, people know engineers are logical thinkers… just cause you don’t have the degree doesn’t mean you can’t be a manager! Not so sure about accounting though.</p>
<p>If you are looking for jobs outside of engineering upon graduation, it is normally a good idea to at least show that you had interest in the subject while a student. For example, being a member of the school’s finance club or future business leaders club will help demonstrate to future employees, that although you majored in engineering, you have always had an interest in the specific field you are applying for.</p>
