<p>I'm transferring from community college in the Fall of 2013, and I was considering an incomplete grade for a certain class which isn't in my field of study and I actually didn't really have to take. The course load for this particular class is interfering with my more important classes.
Since I'm applying for the Fall, the deadline for applications is March, meaning although I'll finish the class in August it'll still show up on my transfer applications as an "I".
Is this a bad idea? Do schools look poorly on an "I" grade? Will they count it as a fail? This is the only issue I have had, I've completed 56 credits without incident. Should I just tough it out?</p>
