cadets who want to go to medical school?
Do they serve as a medical officer in the Air Force after they graduate?
My problem is that I have to convince her because she thinks I would um, you know perish on a battlefield(the same as with most moms)…I mean, I’m not afraird of war, but at the same time I want my life to be fascinating and be a doctor at the same time.
(I was in AFJROTC freshmen yr, but due to an extremely heavy course load, I was unable to continue).

Any input from you guys would be great, thanks!

The following is from the 2004-2005 catelog:
"The air force may send up to three precent of each graduating class direction to medical school upon graduation. Additionally, up to one half precent of each graduation class may be selected to dental school, while another one half being selected to attend nursing school ... These graduates complete their training through the Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program ... Selection for these programs is on a competitive basis and the number of students will be based on the needs of the Air Force"

Hope that helps
