<p>JHU is probably the dorkiest school I know... it seems to have a dead party life. If that's your thing, go there... but... I like having fun and not studying.</p>
<p>ive met a person or two attending there and a lot of the people who already got in seem pretty chill</p>
<p>I know 4 people who've already gotten in and I'm sitting next to one of them right now (nguyent) so... I know people who've gotten in are cool... but the campus life seems pretty dead... I also had an internship there and yeah... it's all about the work. kinda depressing or something</p>

<p>I'm hands down one of the dorkiest kids in JHU. C'mon look at me, I'm talking to high schoolers over some college forum...pfft...</p>
<p>Naw, but I have a life outside of work(well not anymore now that I'm on break). I've been to a few parties(I don't drink so I don't go to many). I'm more of a go out and "watch a movie with friends" kinda guy, instead of the "barf on the person sitting next to you" kinda guy. I'll probably end up going them more often next semester, because my workload is not as tough. To pass the time I joined a few clubs: South Asian Society, MSA, and Ju Jitsu. I also go to many of the events around the campus (a cappella groups, stand up comedy nights, festivals, BBQs).</p>
<p>In general the kids are pretty tight here. I've enjoyed my first semester in JHU, and I contribute it to the kinds of people I've met.</p>
<p>Anyhoo there are parties at JHU. Maybe not as much as some state colleges, but they are there. If you really want to get into that stuff you should join a frat.</p>
<p>whoo hoo!! thanks so much for that javis lol. i live in balto city, and ive never relaly heard anythign good about hopkins (makes me wonder why im so crazy about it) but anyways, good to hear that u like hopkins. lol and hey theres nothing wrong with talkin to highschoolers over some forum. by enlightening us with your experience, you've helped most of these people get through their day. but anyways ur like the second person that i know of (or ... "read" of) that deosnt hate hopkins. i know i'll love it ^_^ anywhos, next year, we'll be college peoples too...dont look down upon us <em>arghh</em></p>
<p>I know someone who's a current freshman at Hopkins, and she adores it. She's very chill, very funny, listens to her CD player 24/7, and she's not a nerd, loser, and definitely not the type of person who studies in the library on Friday nights.
