I'm going to be a freshman this fall at Georgetown, but I'm already considering a transfer to UPenn for various reasons. I'm definitely going to have an academic priority this fall and I'm aiming to get as close to a 4.0 as possible. Hypothetically, if my GPA falls within the 3.9-4.0 range, would I have a good chance transferring to Penn? what are the admissions statistics for transfer students?

Great chance. Admission stats are low, like 10%, but so many transfer in from worse schools, that I would say you've got a great shot. I had a 3.8 from Cornell.

which school within penn would you want to attend

i know someone who transferred from georgetown to wharton after freshman year, pretty much a 4.0

probably arts and sciences or wharton. ideally i'd transfer to the huntsman program but I don't know if that is possible as a transfer

nevermind, hunstman doesnt take trasnfers
