December SAT scores came out today...
And I had not yet sent in my scores to Duke.
My SATII scores came out with a 660 on literature and 710 on math II = really really bad.
the first time i took them, however, i got 720s on both.
Will my second set of scores hurt my chances, or will the college only look at my better scores?

they'll look at your better scores, so don't worry.

btw, are sat 2's required for duke? i remember i sent them simply because i had them for other colleges so they were on my sat transcript or whatever, but some friends at duke say they never took them...and they obviously got in.

kook11--you are not f**ked. Duke will only look at your best SAT II scores (i.e. the 720s). Your 660 and 710 won't even be looked at.

Senator Noodles--Duke will except EITHER the SAT+two SATII's OR the ACT. In other words, the only way two SAT II tests are not required is if you are submitting the ACT.

No one cares about SATIIs if the rest of your app is very strong. I have 2 friends who got into ivies with scores in the mid-600s.

Not ****ed at all!

thanks for your replies. i'm so glad i'm not ****ed, whew.

wow must everyone use that word in every post? lol

dont worry, youre fine.
