How Fast Can You Type?

Hurry up and type your response!

Supa fast brah

120-130 wpm

same here…

70 -80 wpm, I used to be able to do more but I was doing it wrong and my computer teacher broke me out of that habit so now I use both hands and almost all of my fingers but I still type considerably slower.

133 WPM. Won a regional typing contest for $100 in 10th grade.

Can’t tell you. I’m fast enough but if I have to type something specific I suck. But if allowed to type whatever I want I’m pretty fast.

I just took a typing test on a random website and it said that my typing speed was 85 wpm, with no mistakes!

My friend was obsessed with that for a while and went from 100 wpm to 120 wpm lol

In the time it takes you to read this, I have typed more than this entire website.

Sloooowww. I only type with my index fingers still, which is something I keep meaning to sort out.

I can type about 100 wpm if I’m actually trying to type fast, but usually it’s probably around 60 wpm because most of the time I think while I’m typing, and constantly go back and change words and stuff.

I think I unintentionally learned how to type fast from an online game I play. I got kicked out of my Keyboarding class in the 8th grade because I got 117 WPM on the pre-test, which we were supposed to get 30 WPM by the end of the year. I have no idea how people think that’s a high goal.

^
It’s a high goal when you start out typing with just your index fingers or something and don’t have the keyboard memorized.

Guys, I can only type 40 WPM, will this keep me out of Harvard?

Yes, Kongo Bongo.

i type slow, guess its #teamnochanceativys

I type pretty fast. Ive taken online tests but most of them seem crazy/inaccurate.

I had to take a typing class in 6th grade. At that point I was at about 70wpm but now I’m at 100-110 wpm!

Pretty fast for someone that does not use home keys to type.
