How fast do you have to be to join Cornell Swim Team?

<p>Depends on the school. I attended and swam at a D3 school for one year before Cornell...I was recruited by the coach (but I think that was just so he could get someone who could bring the team GPA above a 3.0 :) ). We had a few walk-on swimmers...but after the conclusion of my season he stopped taking walk-ons and limited it to recruits.</p>

<p>the fly's very impressive as well... 50.xx is sick. </p>

<p>i was recruited for harvard with these times... also a sprinter, but my best is probably the 200 which i just discovered i can swim this year as a senior... hoping to improve on them tomorrow (state invitational meet, but different than state championship which is in march)</p>

<p>50 free: 21.61
100 free: 47.04
200 free: 1:38.38
100 breast: 1:02.87
100 fly: 51.61</p>
