Hey guys, so I'm a senior in high school and UCF is my first choice for college, but I want to know how good my chances are at getting in:

8th Grade: 2 honors (they were high school classes)
Freshman year: 1 AP, 3 honors
Sophomore year: 1 AP, 3 honors
Junior year: 2 AP, 3 honors
Senior year: 5 AP
Also, I took 3 years of french and am fluent in Spanish.

Class rank: 96 out of 484
GPA weighted: 4.52(yes, I know this will chance when they recalculate it) also can someone please tell me how to recalculate my GPA like they do?

I haven't applied here yet, but when I applied at USF they asked me what classes I was taking senior year, and for the course number, how do I know what the course number is?

Barb… Are you from Florida by any chance? (If so more questions to follow) Have you taken any Dual Enrollment classes?
Unweighted GPA? I would suggest trying to bump up SAT and try taking the ACT.
Major?

yes, I am from Florida. I’m actually not sure what my unweighted GPA is? lol & no, no dual enrollment, and yeah, my scores were pretty low I’m planning on taking it again, but I heard you’re allowed to send them in after you turn in your application?

Barb…you know for Bright Futures that you have to have a 100 Community Service hours? You can also use EPEP through facts.org to check your recalculated GPA

Barb… There is an option if you don’t get in and you really want to go. If you earn an AA degree from Brevard Community College (there may be others) you are guaranteed admission to UCF. All of your credits will transfer so you would want to take as many towards your major. Long is correct about the community service hours.

long, yeah i know, I’m working on getting more, also I have sooo many hours that I just never logged, like for relay for life, iwas supposed to get 18 hours and I never logged it, so I’m gonna get that done and I’m doing coastal cleanup this weekend, so my hours are good I think for bright futures

and college dad, I would but my parents really don’t want me to go to a community college, I also don’t want to either, but I figured that if I didn’t get in, I could just go to somewhere else that I get into and transfer the next semester.
