All of my AP teachers are pretty awesome, especially my history teacher. He’s really quirky and corny, and makes history really fun. Most of my AP teachers are down to earth, and know what’s going on with their students. I really enjoy all of them.

Chemistry - considering this is his first year…

Lang. - she’s so sweet (that sounds weird). And says “oh, sugarbeets” for her mistakes. One of my best teachers. She’s making us breakfast for the test tomorrow :)

Calculus - very strange but funny teacher. He has 14 different types of rubber chickens. Chicken noise = “stop BSing this” and makes jokes/comebacks that don’t make sense…but good teacher

APUSH - She gets the reward of the best AP teacher ever!

My school has very good AP teachers (administration is kinda money obsessed though). English teachers are meh though

Ahhhh, AP teachers. Some are good, some are inexperienced, some don’t have a clue. Regardless, review books have always come through for me in the end to fill in the gaps. Hopefully that is the case this year as well. Here are how my teachers have been throughout my AP career:

Senior:

US Gov - Best AP teacher I’ve ever had. I should at least score a 3, probably a 4 or 5.

Stat - Worst AP teacher I’ve ever had. She will be forgiven if I score a 4+.

Calculus - Knows the material well, decent at teaching AP. I shouldn’t score below a 4.

Microeconomics - The same teacher that teaches me US Gov. Still have to take this exam, but should pull a 3 with no problems.

Junior:

US History - Grumpy, sometimes hard to work with, but assigned work that prepared me well. Pulled a 4 on a difficult exam.

English Language and Composition - Nicest lady ever! Assigned plenty of practice exams that prepared me well. Pulled a 4 when I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out because of a tricky prompt on free response #2.

Sophomore:

European History - Very old; it was his last year before retiring. Still decent at lecturing, and I pulled a 3 on arguably my toughest AP exam, so no complaints.

Calculus AB- Best there is. Seriously. We had weeks that were purely spent on practicing the AP tests. This is the only exam I’m certain that I will get a five (because the entire class averaged at least 80+ after 3 weeks). Motto “Five on AP”

Physics B-Useless. He’s fun and all, but really, aside from study sessions where he supplied the class with 15 years of MC and FR, his class was a complete waste. His method of teaching was through the use of powerpoint, but he failed to effectively use the program. Every powerpoint presentation of a chapter was useless. I had to read the book by myself just so I could pass the tests with a B or higher. He didn’t even teach us modern physics before the AP (thankfully I self-studied the material)

English Language- She is awesome. She’s a thinker on a whole different level than anyone in our school. My writing skills would probably be substantially lower than the level it is right now if it wasn’t for her. Sadly, she treats our class as if we were mentally disabled because 70% of the people in my class took it for the “weighted” GPA.

AP USH-Great. Simply great. He helped polish my DBQ and FRQ writing skills (although I still failed miserably because of my lack of knowledge about Puritans), but the MC completely relied on self-study. Motto: “Five or die”
