I am going to be sophomore next semester at Emory, and recently decided that I want to major in computer science, and maybe minor in mathematics, but I do not know how good Emory's comp sci department is. Does anyone know? I want to get a decent job once I graduate, so can anyone tell me about the quality of Emory's CS major? What about their math major, how good is it?

Thanks!

I think CS is good enough if you do your part and take advantage of summer oppurtunities and the like (a friend who is now at Georgia Tech as a mech.E major said he actually preferred the way Emory taught CS because they emphasized more concepts of programming moreso than memorizing lots of code. With that said, regardless of his opinion, of course Tech CS is way more prestigious), and math is perhaps not as good, although, they admittedly do have decent pockets of good teaching beyond the introductory math courses (there are beasts like Ken Ono for example).
