How good is Gruber's CR?

I hear its math is pretty good, but it seems like I can nail almost anything in Gruber's when in actuality I got a 680 on the Oct. SATs. I also have Barron's CR, Sparknote's CR, Princeton Review's CR. I have books from a Kaplan course I took, but no specific CR book. I also occasionally will do sections from the blue book. Which book do you think is the best for CR?

I personally like Barron best, and the actual blue book for practice questions right before the exam. Gruber’s CR is terrible. Its writing section is even worse.

I think Princeton Review’s is the best. I would also suggest checking out their Literature subject test prep book to practice on some more challenging reading passages.
Gruber’s is absolutely horrible except for the vocabulary list it features.

Gruber’s CR is not like the actual test at all. I would avoid it. The passages are challenging which can be good, but the questions are not at all like the actual test, which is its pitfall.
