<p>Just a funny side note, my interviewers for Penn and Columbia both brought up the subject of girls. The Penn interviewer asked if I had any REAL questions (because I had been asking very serious ones about lifestyle and academic opportunities), like how hot the girls were. I definitely did want to know, and he basically gave me a really biased rundown of all the schools. HE certainly thinks Penn girls are okay (although definitely not on the state college level), but joined in on the Columbia girl-bashing.</p>

<p>On the other hand, you can have it both ways. I knew a bunch of guys who had NYU girlfriends, or who made friends at CCNY or even Rutgers and would go party every now and then just for variety's sake. And at the end of the day, they still had a columbia education and good jobs.</p>
<p>But on the other hand, I know some investment bankers, in their 30s, who say they'd give up like 20% of their lifetime earnings just to have gone to a school where there were gorgeous women loosening up all over the place.</p>
<p>Personally, while there were a lot of dogs at columbia, there were plenty of girls who more than met my needs in the looks department. I'm not ugly but I don't have any illusions, and at the end of the day I'd rather be with a girl I can talk to and who can challenge me. Doormats suck. So in that respect, Columbia worked out freakin great.</p>

<p>I'm rather disappointed by this thread. My AP english classes have lots of hot girls, and I assumed that those would be the types to apply to Columbia (which many did). Can some other ppl please add their opinions on this, or post pictures?!?!</p>
<p>What's all the fuss about? The number of hot girls at CU will be lower than at a state school, but if you got some game, you'll prob score. Even if you went to a state school, you'd prob still have to have some game... Also, Barnard is right next door.</p>

<p>assuming my logic holds true in most cases, if 90% of girls are hot, then thats 90% of girls that will reject you. </p>
<p>however, if only 10% of girls are hot and 80% are pretty (or whatever is a step or 2 below hot) then that gives you a much better chance, now doesnt it?</p>
